Throughout Kim’s life of fitness she had tried several varieties of yoga to enhance performance and minimize injury. In July 2012 she landed in the hot room at MYW where she found the perfect complement for an individual who was a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie. The 7 pillars and accessibility of the Moksha series resonated with her personal ethics, knowledge and skills as a physical therapist.
The physical changes she experienced with a consistent practice included enhanced flexibility, strength, balance and pain management. However it was the rewards she hadn’t anticipated that excited her the most- the community, grounding, joy and peace. Within a short period of time she knew that she needed to share the benefits of the series with others and she completed her Moksha Yoga Teacher Training intensive in Montreal in October 2014.
